After you have taken care of your own and immediate family’s personal protection (items below), go to the Evacuation Site on the quad and report to the Check-In Table (to confirm protection of individuals in the community) then to Group Management (identified by the hard hats) who will have been trained and will provide guidelines. When verifying in, inform people if you have needed skills such as First Aid or CPR.
10. Check for accidents. Analyze yourself first, then others. Don’t move the seriously harmed, except away from risk of further injury.
11. Evacuate the developing, quickly and in an organized way. Help others to leave, especially the actually limited.
12. Do not light fire, or function electric changes or use the telephone if there is the chance of a gas flow. If dripping gas is mentioned, clear the area and inform a Group Innovator, Building Administrator or Features.
13. Check for broken cup. Be sure you are dressed in shoes before moving about. Watch for dropping cup from destroyed windows.
14. Don't eat or drink from bins near destroyed cup. Be careful of broken bins.
15. Clean up poured toxins, drugs, and combustible ingredients.
16. Check the drinking h2o. If taps function, gather a small urgent provide. Remember, h2o demand may be heavy due to fire battling requirements, so use it sometimes. Emergency h2o is available in bathroom aquariums, ice, processed vegetables, etc.
17. Refrain from eliminating bathrooms. Sewage lines may be broken.
18. Check racks for things ready to fall.
19. If mobile phones are working, make only urgent calls and do not use mobile phones at all if gas is present.
20. Use vehicles only for emergency situations.
21. Stifle gossips. They tend to add to worry and misunderstandings.
22. Refrain from touring and prevent others from doing so. Crowds of people create misunderstandings and restrict the initiatives of urgent employees. Work fully with college and local authorities in charge of urgent techniques.
Note: Aftershocks are additional shaking. Occasionally they do additional damage, mostly from already broken components and volatile, hazardously located things.
