How to lock Hard disk drive?

Something for our personal file we lock our folder by software. But some of the time the software not work properly. And we need more secure system for lock the file for prevent access form other. Most of us don’t know that we have default password protection system on our operating system. Its very easy to use and very safe then other third party software. But this feather not available on all windows operating system. It’s available on win 7/8/8.1 and upcoming OS. And now most of user uses win 7 or upper so it’s not a problem.

Now I will show you how can you protect your drive by a password.

Let’s star…

Step 1 >> go to control panel

Step 2 >> find out bitlocker drive encryption and click it. It showing your drives and also showing that bitlocker off. So just need to bitlocker on.

Step 3 >> click your drive which you want to protect with password

Step 4 >> click on Turn on BitLocker

Step 5 >> tic Use a password to unlock the drive now give your password and click next

Step 6 >> click save to file its will show a dialog box select any drive for save it then click open and save and

Step 7 >> click next and next then click start encrypting

Note: its will take huge time for encrypting after finish encryption you drive will lock. When you unlock your drive it’s unlocked until you computer restart or switch off. When you turn off your computer it will automatically locked your drive. That’s it
